Couple Questions Regarding Bilstein Coil-Over Conversion
1. Coil at 10" uncompressed should collapse to no more than 7.5" with the car on the ground according to QA1. This gives you 2.5" of coil action becasue the coil bind occurs at 4.81"
2. With the rear at @ 800lbs per wheel, a 400# coil puts you in the middle of this range. Adjusting the shock rebound can help this rate to be OK depending on how stiff you like the rear , actually it rides great except for deep dips on the interstate at high speed, my 12 ways are at 6 right now
3. With added weight in the rear cabin area, a 450# or 475" will put you in a better range
I have used 275#, 350#, 400# now and I will likely change to 450# or 475# when the car gets back from paint
THe good news is that I have a great design for a QA1 Coil end table in the living room,,, the wife is battling me on this

Let us know your findings !
