Default 1996 DIC - "Guages" digital info section blank

My 1996 CE / LT4 (which I have owned since 2000) has suddenly lost the ability to display the Oil temp, water temp, ect on the DIC. The analog guages are reading normally, but the digital display will show (for example) "Volts O", or "Oil Temp Lo". Anybody got a solution to this out there?

No solution but just a starting point. The problem would probably be with the CCM or instrument panel.

I might pull the panel, inspect it, clean the connectors and re-install. Try to get a handle if the panel is bad. I have heard that bad solder conections may cause those kind of problems.

If the CCM was the cause of the probelm, unless you had a spare CCM just to try, it would be hard to confirm it was bad just looking at it.
