Default C5 Brake Part Numbers?

Im about to do the front brake upgrade but need the part numbers for the guide pins as well as any hardware Ill need. I found the anti rattle clips on autozones website but theyve also got 3-4 part numbers for the guide pins.

The guide pins are part of the calipers. When I did my conversion, the calipers came in with everything. The caliper brackets came by themselves and the adapter bracket came in with the four bolts per side.

This is all the info I have hope it helps you.

Anyone happen to know what the equivalent part number thru autozone would be for the guide pins?

If you get new calipers from Gene Culley at GMPartsHouse, the caliper assembly will come with guide pins and bolts, rubber seals, and the anti-rattle clips (these are only used for stock GM pads).

It's hard to say why AutoZone is listing 4 different guide pins. But the pins for the front calipers are different than the rear calipers. Their p/n 14150 is clearly marked "Rear" so those would be out.

You may want to send a PM to Gene Culley to see if he will mail to an APO address, If he can do that, it would be much easier than trying to ID the correct AutoZone parts.

Also note that in other than color, there is no difference between the front Z06 caliper and the "regular" C5 front caliper.

also much thanks for the added input. So just to be clear the anti-rattle clips are only for stock GM brake pads?

No, I used all three (per caliper) anti rattle clips when I did this upgrade with the Hawk HPS pads I installed. The anti rattle clips, (part#10, 1 pair/caliper, in the illustration posted above by PLRX, come with the purchase of new OEM GM brake pads. Most people reuse these clips when they replace worn brake pads. There is also an anti rattle clip, (part#6 in the illustration above, 1/caliper), that comes with the OEM GM ZO6 calipers when bought new. I used all of these clips, 6 total with the Hawk HPS pads.
