TC/ Trans Issue
Car: 1996 LT1 Corvette
Trans: 4L60E
Installed a new 3000 stall tc with my 133k+ miles transmission. When i step hard on the gas, pedal to the floor the car will just rev up like it was in neutral, doe not matter which gear i am. However, if i go slow and gradual car will gain speed. Have no experience with trans or TC. The car was running fine with the previous TC, is it the TC?, Trans.?, put engine back in wrong. Any comments are appreciated.

Proper fluid level was attained before you restarted the engine with the new converter?
Your sure the converter was fully engauged into the tranny pump before you buttoned everything up?
Did you change all of the fluid and filter during the swap?
Perhaps the 133K + tranny/friction material is gone / "tired" - it may be time for a rebuild.

You may need to reflash the computer, because of the high stall. The ECM controls the pressure soleniods in the trans. The ECM sense the pressure difference.
