Hey guys,
I recently stumbled across this site (as I'm looking to tune my '94 LT1) and wanted to know if anybody has used this guy/what you thought of his work. http://www.lt1pcmtuning.com/
Better alternatives?
Also, do I even need a tune? I have a K&N, TPiS longtubes (1 3/4" primaries and 3" collectors), Random Tech hi flow cats, 3" x pipe and 3" powersticks (bullet style mufflers) mated to the stock 2.75" piping, 160 t-stat, 315/35/17s in the rear, and a 3.07 final drive. I'm just looking to squeeze some more out of the car right now.
A friend with similar mods picked up 14 hp. by tuning measured on the dyno. If you changed the gear ratio at the very least your speedometer is off and with the 160* stat you would also benefit from a change to the fan settings.
I have not used the tuner in your link, I will include a few others here to consider, good luck.
Those of you who have used pcmforless, did you send your PCM via mail? I really want to have the option to run some datalogging for him, and I don't think you can do that unless you get the tune emailed to you and you install it yourself

I send mine in as I don’t have the ability to do such but I do believe they will work with you on that.
I used pcmforless when I did my header install. Ran 4/10" faster on the 1/4. I just got a data cable and they email me the tunes. I use Datamaster for the data logging, which they will need.
Just downloaded Datamaster, ordered a 16 pin USB ALDL cable, and bought a tune from PCMforless!! For those of you who have used them, if you selected the $175 "I will send in my PCM" option, how did the shipping to and from process work? I would've rathered just receiving an email tune, but it was the $175 option or a $300 core option
if you have the data cable and datamaster, you should have them email you the tune instead of sending in your PCM. that is what I did. this makes it helpful when they make corrections to the tune.
That's what I did. Installed my tune and datalogged it yesterday. Datamaster kept being stupid and intermittently cutout about every 6 seconds, but I got enough data to compensate.
