I have a 1985 manual 4-speed corvette and recently when i accelerate the car begins shaking. Thinking it had something to do with the u-joints i replaced them yet the shaking is still continuing. Hoping someone has had this problem or knows what it might be

Drive shaft U-joints; tire balance; wheel damage; hub bearings ???? All are possibilities.
Did the Drive Shaft u joints and the tire balance and wheels are good. The Shaking only occurs when i take off and accelerate, after i reach about 5 mph the shaking begins to go away and is completely gone by 10
If it starts right when you take off and goes away at 5-10 mph, you probably are experiencing clutch chatter. A new clutch could have this if not installed correctly or the flywheel not resurfaced.
