Which? SR or MR...help!
I am considering either a superram or miniram. Which should I get? I have the richmond 6spd close ratio, soon to be installed AFR190 heads, soon to be upgraded roller cam (must have a good idle). ported shorty headers into dual 2.75 pipes, into PE muffs.

With the 6-speed 90% of the people will tell you to get the Miniram. The question is are you willing to spin your motor to 7 grand? :)

Then go SuperRam. With the combo all together you should be shifting around or at 6000 with the SR. It makes it's peak power right around 5400-5700.

I would go SR if you want to shift below 6k rpm. But id take a long look at having the bottom end built to take the 7k abuse and then get a MR.

Re: (vader86)
since you live in CA. (the smog police capitol) and if you want to pass the sniffer tests. Then you'll pretty much have to go SR.
The MR dosn't have a EGR, so it would be tuff to pass emissions.

I'm wondering why TPiS never included provisions for an EGR hook-up in the MR? I mean, wouldn't it open up more of a market for them?

Call them up and ask!
I am willing to bet it is the amount of $$$ it would cost them to get the CARB # vs the amount of sales they would have in CA.
It's the same type of thing with trying to find a set of headers legal for the L-98 in CA.
