Default 84/85's have limited slips?
Did any of the 84 or 85 C4 models come with a limited slip? If so, which models and what kind of limited slip? clutch pack? gears?

Cars with auto trans got a Dana D36 while manual trans cars got a D44. The D44 can be installed in place of the D36. A D44 in good condition and properly set up should be able to handle 400+ HP with no problems. But remember that there are 6 u-joints in the driveline.

84 got the D36 in all cars, from 85 on the manual cars got the D44
