Funny you mention that, because over the last 2 years I figure about 100 forum members have earned a big fat steak and a cigar for helping me with my Vette, and my questions.

I think C4 Tech is directly responsible for the drop off in sales of TB airfoils.:D

Without this forum, I can't begin to the think of the time and money I would have wasted to get my car the way it is. That's the great thing about it, you are getting the benefit of a huge collective experience when you ask questions here. I have under $2,000 in mods to my 88 and it is running low 13's on its way to 12's with a stock L98 with no adverse affects on driveability.:D
The only time I have ever got burned when when I was blasphemous and didn't listen to the forum. I bought an exhaust that sucked royal azzcheeks and got screwed by VanDerZanden Engineering. After that. always listened to the forum.:)

You might as well drag a couple of dead cows behind your car on the way to the cruise in. Should be medium rare by the time you get there. :D

Hey, it happens! Two years ago I was in a bind and my motor went south. It happened to be right before Christmas and everyone on the forum had a cheerful heart..... well, somebody mentioned that I was a nice guy and helped quite a few members out in the past, so they sent me $20 for Christmas. That was Kevin Buickerood... KBuicker on the forum. Others thought it was a nice gesture, and a month later, I had about $360 in cash from several forum members to help offset my $1000 motor rebuild! I was on a shoestring budget and did a stock rebuild, but got the car back on the road in record time! If it was not for the forum and the generosity of the members, my car probably would have sat for at least 4 or 5 months. That would have sucked because it was my daily driver. The gesture brought tears to my wife's eyes, and it was that moment that she realized whey I spend so much time here.... this is a great place with great people.

It probably doesn't happen as often now that the forum has grown so much and the members are not quite the same tight-knit family it was, but the generosity is still deep inside the heart of the forum members.
