Valve Covers - paintable?
I know this is a stupid question but I have to ask - can one paint their valve covers? Mine are a crap brown color and it looks horrible in the engine bay. I have plenty of left over black gloss paint from the calipers but I'm sure it'll look horrible if I paint these. Has any tried this before?
I prob. gonna pickup a new set this year at Carlisle.

Why not? Just use high temp stuff and you'll be fine. Odd that yours are brown. mine have 135k miles on them and they look great.
