In one of your previous photos, there was a bum sleeping under the car. Ya might want to wack him with a shovel and get him out of there before you crank it.

Oh I dunno....couldn't be much worse than a cat tangled in the serpentine...although the bum probably smells worse...
Man, you are getting this thing together pretty quickly. Do you have others helping you put it all together?
Can't wait to see what kind of HP she'll be putting out.

Physcially it has been me 95% of the time. Dad has helped out a couple of times when I didn't have the experience to know a trick on how to do something. He also helped me get the tranny in as we don't have a tranny jack and a floor jack made it pretty hard to get it in position by myself. He also did the valve guides, valves, and vale seats on the heads.
Otherwise, I've had all of the NE guys on the cell phone at one point or another asking "how". :)
Why did you decide on 2.02 and 1.06 valves as compare to a smaller valve likes 2.00 or 1.90?
I see allot of CNC heads listed as having 2.00 intake and 1.05.
I know the smaller valves will give the engine airflow better terminal velocity which equals better torq. Makes for a better street daily driver.

That is what size valve were in them when I bought them. So... instead of having to have new seats put in, we stayed with that and reground them as I had to put new intake valves in. The stems were worn funny from really shotty valve guides way out of tolerence.

I think you meant 2.02/1.60 Alot of people use 2.00/1.56 Valve because that is the largest valve that will fit in the stock head with out modifying the valve seats.
