Default she died...

Swapped out injectors, EGR, and fuel regulator today. Everything seemed to go great. Started it up and idled very smooth. No more pitting etc.

I let it idle for about 15 minutes and it sounded great so I decided to take a quick drive.

Got no more than a few miles away, I shut it off in the parking lot and started it again a couple times. Now, nothing works... Lights, radio, inet cluster etc. And of course, she won't start.

If i try to start it... I hear a really faint chime, and thats it.

HELP!

I checked the before I left the house.

However, I just now disconnected the battery cable, reconnected it, and everything started working again. Don't know what that means... Reboot of computer?

It means you had a really poor connection at battery terminal.

It happened again today.... Same scenerio. Drive home, shut it off, and then tried to start it again. All the lights came on for a second and then EVERYTHING send dead. Interior lights, exterior lights, windows... Everything. Only thing that happens is if I try to start the car and then turn the key back to the off pos. It chimes very faintly.

I disconnect the battery, and connect it again, and everything works.

I will check for a bad power cable, and try giggling them when it does this again.

While checking cables do not forget the starter and engine grounds.

Ended up being the Positive Battery Cable... (I THINK)

Usually I only disconnect the negitive cable, but recently I bought a battery tender and I now remember disconnecting the Postive at that time... I guess I didn't tighten it down very good...

To Quote Rick Perry... Oops...
