Changing out rotor on 95 optispark, how hard?
Hello forum members!
How hard is it to clean an optispark on a 95 LT1 and change out the rotor? I have everything off down to the water pump. Is it very difficult to remove the balancer pulley, I know I have to remove it to get to the opti. I do not have a spanner wrench and need a way to hold the pulley to loosen the bolts. Any ideas?
I am also wondering how hard it is to pop open the optispark, also are there any other parts besides the rotor that can be serviced?

The opti comes apart easily, you just need a few more tools.
A reverse Torx (don't remember the name). I think it was designated as an E-5 (smallest size) to take the cap off.
And you need a Torx-10 ( very small ) to take the rotor off.
I found both in sets at Kragen's. About $10 a set.
