I just picked this 90 vert with 29000 miles. The PO told me that the car has a performance chip in it, I know the car is strong. but what does that mean? also he told me that one injector had a ohm reading of 1/2 of what it should be. All 7 others were fine. The PO said that I should put in a new set of delphi injectors. because of the performance chip.
Please give me some direction on this. When the car gets to normal temp. that 1 injector makes a noise at idle. then it goes away when you accelerate.

Ask the PO what chip it was
There are off the shelf "performance " chips that promise miracles but do very little
( sometimes make engine perform worse ) and custom tunes specially designed for a engine.
In any case with a stock engine there is not alot that can be improved over the factory tune.
