pass door won't open from the outside
I have a 1984 vette and the passenger side door will only open from the inside.
Also just the other day I locked my drivers side door from the inside and shut the door ( I usually lock from the outside with the key ) and when I went to get back in my car the key wouldn't open it from the outside and I had to use a slimjim to get in. Can someone tell me how to fix these door prblems I'm having?

The problem is going require you to remove the door panels.
It sounds like to me that either the rod that connects to the door lock or the door handle has come undone. They have plastic adaptors that secure them in the latch mechanism. They are a twist to lock and may have come undone or broken. The only way to know this is to remove the panels and look. It is not a hard job to do yourself.
I would suggest though if you do not have the factory manuals to find a used set and purchase them. You can find them on sites like eBay and will cost you under $100.00. If you plan to keep the corvette and do work on it they will pay for themselves just in the aggrevation factor.
