Power Window Doesn't Work
Hello Everyone,
I searched the forums but didn't find anything. I just bought a 1992 and the passenger side window doesn't go up or down. The control on the driver's door doesn't work and the one on the passenger door doesn't work either.
How do I troubleshoot so I know what to fix or replace?

I'm in the same boat but my driver's side works and passenger side just died. I've not looked at Vette windows but I guess proccess would be same. easiest/ first thing to do would be check power to switches. If meter shows 12V, then we probably will have to pull door panel for visual check (anything disconnected, broke, etc.), after that, the window regulator is one of the "usual suspects."

Indeed start at the switch, assure power is getting to it and through it when you activate it.
If OK, open the door panel and see if power is getting to the motor; if so replace the motor.

The switches use contacts that get fouled.
They can be disassembled and cleaned in most cases. A bit of a pain, but not expensive if you can just clean /em.
Check the voltage to/through the switches if the fuses are good.

Quick update.
My car is at my buddy's shop getting some paint work done so I'm having him tackle the window problem. I just spoke with him and he said the switch and the motor are fine and they are chasing down a broken ground connection somewhere.
