I have a 93 C4 with 70k miles.
Right now I found out it had bosch platnum plugs in it and in my experince you never put a bosch plug in a chevy. Just whats worked for me.
I ran Bosch platinum plugs in my L98 for years and had very good experience with them. The car ran strong and never needed any repacements. A few years ago I changed them out for AC OEM plugs for NCRS judging purposes. It might be my imagination, but it seems to me that the car ran stronger with the Bosch platinum plugs in it. I still have the Bosch plugs and some day soon I think I'll put them back in.
FWIW, i used autolite plugs for many years. i had 4 plugs left from several years ago that were stamped made in USA. i went to the local parts store to get 4 more and noticed that they are not stamped any more, made in USA, but are now made in china. i called autolite and told them why i will no longer use their product. now, i am going to all ac delco plugs, still made in USA. just my 02. see ya
My suggestion is to run the plugs that originally came in the car. When I had my stock L98 in my 89 vette I tried different expensive plugs and came back to the stock AC Delco plugs because I noticed no difference at all in the more expensive plugs.. GM should know what works best , they built the car....WW

I have NGK TR55IX plugs. They have been in for 20K and two autocross seasons and still run excellent. If your engine doesn't use any oil and runs fine, go with an Iridium plug as they will last a long time. In the past, some guys have had bad luck with AC Delco professional plugs as they are double platinum and the pucks sometime fall off giving you a huge gap.
