Decided on Mods
As many of you may remember I had some head problems (with the car not me...well) anyway here is the list of performance parts I have decided on:
- CompCams XR269HR cam with a 218/224 duration @50, 495/503 lift, and a 112 lobe separation.
- Heads, minor port work, new stock size valves, 7/16 studs, hardened guide plates, new springs
- CompCams 1.5 Roller rockers
- New roller lifters, new push rods
- Roller timing chain
- Accel TPI base
- Edelbrock water pump with a 180 t-stat.
After I get this move thing behind me (I am moving from Phoenix to Charlotte NC) I will be adding larger injectors, better flowing runners and porting the plenum, possibly with a larger throttle body.
I am checking on a new chip any suggestions for that? Im pretty sure that the car will not idle with that cam and the stock chip what do you think?
