I recently added some lucas reconditioner fluid to my power stearing pump. guess I over filled and some spilled out on 2-3 plugs wires. now I have a miss. im assuming the lucas fluid on wires is causing it to miss. guess my question is, are changing the wires like on any car remove one wire at a time and replace them by pulling one end off the plug then other end off the opti distrib then replacing the one pulled by a new wire. or is it not that simple?
The opti system is definitely more challenging pulling the wires..
Just make sure you look at the routing on the opti or mark them
It's fairly tuff to get and see the opti cap.

well I was thinking for now just changing the ones that had the powerstearing fluid all over it for now since the wires are the same that im buying to replace them with. there on the passenger side and looks to be fairly simple to reach.
just didnt know if the end that connects to the opti destrib required and special attention other than slidding old one off and slidding new one on.
