i think they are bad. i have a hard time starting the car and have to give it gas to keep it running for the first 30 seconds or so after starting. Also sometimes i have a surge in rpms when cruising on the freeway.

Re: how do i test my injectors? (C4Fetish)
Doubt that is injectors, but could be.
Don't you have a thread from about 20 minutes ago saying that the dealer wants to charge you $2,000 for injectors? So they have already diagnosed that there is a problem? Care to share?
Usually hard starting when warm points to leaking injectors. Rich at Cruzin Performance has a terrific reconditioning service with 48hr turnaround at $80/set. You can measure the static resistance of each to see if all are close in value to each other and in the 12-16Ohm range.
The surge could be due to sticking injectors as well as other things.
That doesnt really sound like injectors.. I would check out the Fuel Pressure Reg.. Its easy to see if the diaphram is broken.. just pull the vaccum line out of the back of the FPR.. have a friend watch it as you start up the car.. if fuel starts coming out of the FPR (where the fuel line was plugged in) that means it is shot.. (oh, and turn it off RIGHT away if fuel starts coming out!!! you might want to put a little cup under it or something, so you dont spray fuel all over the place if it is broken!!)

it wasnt the dealer, and would you trust a shop that wants to charge you 2gs to change the fuel injectors? I wouldnt. Just trying to watch myself and see if maybe there is something else that could be wrong.

also, i replaced my egr last week, and when i took off the plenum there was fuel in it.....could this be fuel from the fuel pressure regulator? Thats my thinking since thats where the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator goes......
hopefully thats my problem and i just saved myself 2000 dollars :D

any thoughts??
Yup.. that definatly sounds like it could be a FPR problem. Give it that little test I mentioned above.. like I said.. if fuel comes out where the vaccum line plugs in, you have a broken FPR (and a new, adjustable FPR is only like $150 or so!) :)
