Default tunercat for 1994

my 1994 has a LT1 and 6 speed, I want to buy tunercat. This might seem like a dumb question or two but here goes. first , my car is ODB1, but is the port a OBD1 or 2? I know the 1996 had a obdii port but i seem to recall it was still really a obd1, what is mine. second, where exactly is my port?
Do i just need the software that comes with the tunercat or do I also need their Datamaster program also? All I really want to do at this point is to change the point at which my fans kick on and off..

1. OBD1 with a OBD2 connection
2. Look under the drivers side dash to the right.
3. Datamaster is only required if you want to see what's happening. Tunercat is all you need to make changes. Note: you need a cable to go from your laptop to the OBD connector.
Enjoy!

It is a OBD2 port.. but it is still a OBD1 system
When you order tuner cat they have a LT1 kit software USB y cable and USB driver
You need the EE definition file to open and view your pcm
BE very careful when flashing turn of screen & power savers turn off anti virus
Some laptops create noise while on AC... If you loose connection or lock up while programming
Your all done!!! you will need to install sockets and order new flash times 2
