I replaced my Bilsteins, at 60K miles, with Edelbrock IAS units.
They were terrible.
Took them off after 100 miles and put on KONI adjustables. The KONI's look like they came off a road grader (the IAS were beautiful), but they work.
My wife's '94 has the Monroe SensaTrak and they work fine for her. She drives mostly in-town with an occasional road trip...they are so soft her car doesn't have a rattle or a squeak. The hardest she ever cranks the steering wheel is pulling into the garage, though.
I replaced the F45 shocks in my '96 with Bilsteins. Pricey? Try finding F45 shocks! They were a little too "firm" at first but after a couple thousand miles they smoothed out a bit. As QCVette stated they are stable and not harsh at all. KYBs would probably be my second choice if considering price. I hear KONIs are good but I have no experience with them.
Tokico HP Blue shock is a very good Corvette shock at 1/2 the price of Blistein with %100 Blistein performance levels and they come with a LT warranty. my choice:TOKICO!
What are best shocks for 94 coupe. Was thinking about getting some sensa track or would it be better to stay with bilstiens
I want to thank every one for info won't be buying sensa tracks. Probably staying with bilstiens. $ not issue with my favorite girl. P.S. hope I spelled every thing correct wudnt want to look ignorant.

If money isn't an issue I personally would be looking at the Koni's or QA1's. That being said, I just put a set of Bilsteins on mine.

I ordered set of bilsteins from corvette central $320 plus $17 and some change for shipping. cheapests I could find. Hope that not bad price. Belle tire wanted $159 each auto masters wanted $125. Man they really try to push KYB,s trying to keep it close as original as possible except for super charger I want.

Money is no object...you can do better than Bilstein's. For the BEST advice, you would do well to give us more criteria...or at least user info;
type of use/driving style?
Likely hood of actually adjusting, adjustable shocks
Desired ride quality
Road condition in your general driving routes...
I have Koni's and they're pretty good. As good as or better than Bilsteins and I can adjust them when I go to the track, for track "duty"...then put them back at the end of the day for street "duty". As mentioned, QA1's are better and there are other fully adjustable units out there too.
I pulled the stock Bilsteins off my '94 Coupe/LT1/auto last June. The stock Bilsteins are nice performers, but since all I do is standard Michigan city/highway driving, they were just too darn stiff for a 3250 lb. car.
I replaced the OEs with 4 KYB Gas Adjusts. They seemed like a great value - less than $170 for all 4 as I recall. The KYBs are a little better (softer riding). They introduce a little more rebound to moderate bumps. All things considered, the KYBs are still a little stiff for my 52 year old hiney.
I had a shock exchange the last weekend, too. Old soft ride Bilsteins out and Z51 Bilsteins in and it makes a night and day difference. The old Bilsteins were too soft imho and i cannot (and honestly don't want to) imagine how it feels if the shocks are even "softer" than the soft ride Bilsteins.
