Default ground G107

Does anyone know where ground point G107 is on a 93 coupe? I'm having trouble with wipers. Just got a new motor cover and when I first connected it it worked fine. Got in the car this morning and wipers wouldn't come on. They will come on if you jump a ground wire from frame to one of the screws holding the cover onto the wiper motor. When inoperable, you hear a clicking sound inside the wiper motor when you turn the switch on, but only clicks once and wipers won't move. My FSM says wiper motor ground is G107, but does not say where to find it. Thanks for any help.

Check the wiring section in the wipers. There is a list of where connected and such are. If its not there, check the ground distribution section.

I looked in both sections, and ground distribution section says G107. I wanted to know where G107 grounds to the chassis.

One of two places. Most likely is the drives side lowest trans mounting bolt, which is actually a stud instead of a bolt. There are 3 or 4 ground wires going there. Then ther is another grounding bolt just above the oil filter and a lot harder to get to.

Thanks, I'll look at those places.

Yes it does. Page numbers as follows:
8A-14-15 G107 LH rear of engine, on bell housing.
This is the Ground that has the braided ground strap that goes to the bell housing then to the chassis near the battery. As well as engine/other grounds attracted to it.

Page: 8A-201-8 Figure 24 has the line drawing of G107.

G107 grounds at G102. G102 is Mounted to LH frame rail, below battery.
Page: 8A-201-15 Figure 37 has a line drawing of this.

Thanks 93Rubie. I've looked all through FSM and didn't see those pages.

I know g107 goes from bell housing to chassis but g102 is not connecting to anything on my car. Looks like it got disconnected from where it was suppose to go. It is just hanging without a connector on the end. Anyone know where it should connect to?

The braided strap goes just above the oil filter on a large bolt.

FYI this is a 2 year old thread.

You mean that the braided strap from g102 (behind the battery) goes to g106 (near the oil filter)?
