I would look at the IAC (idle air control) motor. They can get sticky and cause idling probelms.
Take it out, clean up the plunger and base metal where it seels. Lub the motor shaft and put it back in. If there is a change then it might be bad and need to be replaced.

The biggest share of the time a computer will be reacting to a mechanical issue. The problems are usually outside the computer.
Dirt, moisture, bad connections,worn mechanical parts.
The IAC is on the passenger side of the Throttle Body next to the TPS. I had the same high idle problem and I cleaned the area and replaced the IAC and it worked immediately. Probably could have cleaned the old one but didn't want to have to replace it later on the side of the road.
