383vett has an 84 so NO ABS.

However, line locks still work with ABS. Install the unit in the rear line after the master cylinder but before the ABS. You can mount the unit anywhere that is convenient. Note I do believe the unit has SAE double flares/threads? The Corvette has ISO bubble flares/metric threads, I think.

To use:
Take ASR off
Apply Brakes, hit switch
Let of brakes, pressure held in rear brakes only.
Burnout.
Hit switch to release rear held pressure.

In fact, if you could change the programming of the ABS unit, the unit itself could act as a line lock. The unit has solenoid valves that can hold, apply via pump, or release pressure.

The abs is in the rear compartment on this model.I have the fitting for the master cylinder and the abs.I got these from summit. The instructions said run a line from the rear of the master cylinder to the abs. That line would have to be over six feet long.my car is a 93,there is no room, like yours.

It is a 91, all Corvettes after 86 have standard ABS.

Like I said, mount right off master cylinder as pictured above. Rear line off master, install line lock solenoid inline with this line. No need to run any more lines. You are just splicing in, putting it inline with existing rear brake line off master cylinder.

I will do this on Monday. It looks like you have the front valve on the master cylinder hooked to the line lock unit. The front brakes run off the back, right?
