91 headlight problem

Default 91 headlight problem
ok so i just replace the cdm box in a 91 after putting all back together and connecting the battery the driver side headlight motor is running with out the switch on but its not moving the light the motor just keeps going,,,,, help

Is the gear stripped for not connected properly?

no because when i turn the switch the headlight go's
up
