supercharger?
belt driven. Claimed up to 40%. That would be 120 extra horses.
Google corvette superchargers on web and flea bay. Lots of different
apps. I most definetly will do it if I ever get another bonus check.
Enjoy.

The vortech and procharger head units are great units. That said, the vortech and procharger lt1 c4 corvette kits leave a lot to be desired. The brackets, hardware, FMU, etc. all leave a lot to be desired.
Vortech lt1 kit is discont'd and procharger's lt1 kit has problems because it uses a restrictive intercooler and is a single belt setup (vs. blowerworks dual belt setup. One belt for Accessories, the other for the supercharger).
I do want to add procharger's superchargers now have higher step up ratios (vs. early p600b models) so maybe the belt slip isnt as bad as it once was. That said, I wouldnt count on it and Id go with a blowerworks setup w/ its own dedicated 8 rib belt. Also, the FMU is not ideal. You want to put on big injectors, bigger fuel pump(s) and most importantly - a good tune.
Id be careful with that higher compression lt4. Ideally for a centrifugal blower w/ meth/water inj, you would want about 10.0:1 compression. Start lowering it and you kill low end TQ response.
You dont need 8:1 compression like many on here will lead you to believe. Though if you are going for a non-intercooled, non -meth injected turbo or roots-type setup, then 8:1 compression is a good idea.
