Default tune up problem

ok guys i did a tune up on my 91 cap/rotor, plugs and wires, and it ran good for a day. so now it runs ok for a min or two then it starts to miss.. the day after i did the tune up i took it for a ride and got caught in a pretty heavy down pour and thats when it started to act up like i was driving and then the car started missing and poping back and it wouldnt take any throttle.. help please because i check and i cant figure it out..

If it ran well before look to the work that you did:
-assure all wires are plugged in securely
-assure the rotor has not come loose
-check that the dist cap is well seated
-check that the aux wires are plugged in properly

Yea that's what I figure, so I did that and everything I did look fine and so I figure it maybe a bad cap and rotor because I just pick them up from autozone where I work, so I swap the cap rotor and coil from my 86 and still still same problem
