Default Help, Stuck Drive shaft

Hi, I am currently in the process of changing the clutch in my '06 and for some reason the drive shaft won't slide out of the slip yoke in the end of the ZF6, anyone experienced this or have any ideas how to get it free?

TIA

I was afraid I'd get that answer, I've tried a rubber mallet but I usually leave the BFH approach to my Jeeps! I'll see what I can do, thanks. Is this a common problem with C4's?

If you hit the yoke you should be okay, it is steel. Can't say I've heard of others having this problem. The bushing may be grooved, you will know when you get the yoke out.

Just wrap some shop rags around a pry bar and gentle 'coax' it out.
