Default Auto-X+Go Pro=Cool

I borrowed a guys Go Pro camera, I really need to get one. Looks slow but trust me I am going fast and I am very busy inside the car.
I'm on street tires FYI.

I'd like to think about cameras in my car for racing I WISH!! I thought about putting cameras in my car to get video evidence of out of control police when they pull you over in N.Y.C. The abusive nonsense that takes place would have my videos on the 6 o'clock news. I really want cameras in my car for this reason I'M NOT JOKING

There must be a way to adjust the play speed. I think I have seen videos that were GoPro Cameras and the video was in real time. The picture quality was nice but the speed was poor. Find out if you can adjust the replay speed. I was thinking of getting the new GoPro2 but after that I wouldn't waste my money.

Here is what my Sony HandyCam will do-

Like I said, I borrowed it from a guy. I had no idea how to use it. Next time I'll mount it inside the car. It was on top the targa top so...

Nice Video.

Mount inside on the b pillar. Then make sure the light is adjusted for outside cockpit. Took some interesting elbows to get it low enough to miss the mirror in the middle of eye line but works wonderful. Im having troble editing cause i forgoot to turn off and none of the online sites do more than a 3gb file.

The Go-Pro is a great camera. Ive learn to use the full lid once you pass 50 MPH for long shots. Cool videos thanks for sharing

I keep wondering why these events dont use the removable street lines tape.

Honestly, I've seen a club or two use chalk but once you walk the course a few times. You don't need it. I never got lost but I walk the course like 5 times before I run. Once I can visual the course in my mind I'm ready. I don't even look at the cones much when I'm running. I pick my reference point cones and use them only. Avoid the rest. Unless, you want to be a cone killer.

Because visualization is part of the competition. Walking the course and getting the "line" in your head is a part of autocross that is most critical. When taking Junior Johnson's EVO School for autocross driving skills they don't even give you a course map. They really try to instill the visualization process to the nth degree.

The course you drove was pretty tame and i visualize it from an airial view. My scca in sc uses chalk and it good for the first few runs but as crap is kicked up and breeze blows it disappears by mid day.

You are right, the handy cam doesn't have a wide angle view and haven't been able to find a mount for my roll bar either. That's why I was thinking of a GoPro2.
