Alternator Wiring?
Just wanted to double check the wiring for my '88s alternator since I had to replace the plug. Anyone happen to have a close up pic of the wires? Ive already got the ones that go into the plug re-spliced so Im mainly concerned with the one on the back of the alternator-I had one wire from the nut going into a thicker power wire towards the fuel rails?

If the alternator is on and reading the same voltage as the battery with the car running would that indicate the voltage regulator is bad and not the alternator harness?

The batt is just a huge capacitor across the alt output that smooths out the full-wave DC signal from the alt.
The voltage at the alt, at the batt and on the dash should all read the same value.
