How do i tune my 1990 l98 for longtube headers and cold air intake. Im talking step by step by step.
Ps. Since its an engine swap into an 81 vette im running a painless performance computer and harness. Do standard chips still apply?

Lots of info in "stickies" at thirdgen.org DIY-Prom board.

Go to TunerPro for info on datalogging and .bin programming.

The first thing is to get your fueling adjusted (BLMs). This "assumes" your injector constants are set appropriately. Post #6 in this thread from 3rd Gen is a fundamental explanation of how:
http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/di...ttle-fuel.html

Because you have a different ECM there may be some variance in how your logging and editing info is presented, but the general idea is the same if you're still running speed density.

As Rohn mentioned, the stickies at 3rd Gen have great info, try to concentrate on the 870 ECM stuff so it won't get too confusing (if you still have SD). This thread above came from those stickies BTW
