i have a decent size crack in my top. i am planning on wrapping it with carbon fiber. looks real nice when done right but i need to repair the crack first so it won't get any worse. anybody know how to repair the crack so the top will be solid?
If using real carbon fiber the cf will dry stronger than the plastic so repairing the crack is unnecessary. If using the vinyl that looks like cf you do need to repair the crack. I repaired mine with superglue. It held for a good long time so far
The crack in mine is clear through. I can stick paper throuh it. It's dead center of the roof, from the windshield back about 9". Think the crazy glue will hold? Did you a clamp on the top to compress it? Someone else said to drill a very small hole at the end of the crack to stop it from spreading.
