Noob Question About Split BLM's
I have an LT4 with a Hot Cam in a 94. Everything else is completely stock. I've started with a mail order tune.
The LT4 was in perfect condition before the Hot Cam install. I assume it still is.
At lower levels of airflow (< 30 gm/sec), the right side is consistently leaner than the left - the worst being 1200 RPM @ 125/138 average BLM.
Over 30 gm/sec, the left is consistently leaner - but the worst case here is 127/120 average BLM @ 2800 RPM and 50 gm/sec. Most of the splits in this range are within 3.
Should I be concerned? It seems like the >30 condition could be normal, since it's mostly very close.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
