I would be happy to help you. Take a look at the carbotech 1521 compound.

The Carbotech™ 1521™ is our high performance street compound. The 1521™ compound is known for its release and modulation, along with unmatched rotor friendliness. 1521™ is also a very low dusting and low noise compound with an excellent initial bite. This compound's excellent linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Carbotech™ 1521™ operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 800°F (426°C+). 1521™ is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle or fleet vehicle. Carbotech™ 1521™ is NOT recommended for ANY track use.

You'll get a million and one answers on here, some are real crap...just like rotors from Auto Zone and Pep Boys.

Its your choice. Don't bet your Vette or life on cheep $hit from Advance, Auto Zone or Pep Boys

If you want some sound advice and fair prices check out these guys

There is also Adam at Corbontech.

Both are first rate companies to deal with

Well swapped out the front old green stuff pads and rotors..for hawk HPS and Raybestos rotors... Brakes have improved... But Still would like to see better..l

Would changing out the rear OE generic pads for hawks hps give me any noticeable improvement?

Thoughts?

The rears don't do much. Better pads will help a little.

The brake bias spring (search will help you with this) will help more.

Make sure you bleed the brakes and use a decent fluid. I like Ate Super Blue or Ate Typ 200 (same thing as the Blue, but gold in color).

Better pads are what you need. Hawks are ok, but....

Well still can't get the wheels to lock up... Hawk hps pads in the front... Generic pads in the rear... Booster is working fine... Bled the entire system again.. (except for the LF bleeder is not coming out without a fight)... Only thing left to try is change out the rear pads... Was thinking Hawk HPS on he rear also..

Thoughts opinions?? Will better pads in the rear help??

Should the wheels be able to lock up (I know the abs is supposed to kick in but it's not stopping quick enough to engage the abs)..
