I bought a 93 that has regular shocks but was equipped from the factory with the FX3 suspension. Besides the shocks and actuators what and where do I need to check for missing componets? Also was the speedo output on the transmission where the systen got it's signal from to make the adjustments to the system while driving?
There is also an FX3 control box inside the compartment behind the drivers seat. It's attached to the side of the compartment with velcro, and there's a sizable harness plugged into it.
Aside from that, the four individual wire harnesses that plug into the actuators need to be present. The front ones are easy to find, but the rear ones run inside the frame rail. If the PO didn't somehow secure these, then they will have slipped deep into the frame and and will need to be fished out.
I would expect that the selector switch is still present on the console.

2. Indirectly. The signal went from the trans to the computer same as non-FX3 cars. Then it was reported to the FX3 module in the rear driver's side storage well.
Yes I read that one already. (but thanks for pointing it out)

This is of some concern as I plan to use a T-56 in the car.
