My '88 has 163k miles and the past few days my oil temp guage hasnt been coming on until several minutes of driving when it hits 150 or 160 F. Also I noticed Ive got an oil leak-I saw some drops underneath my transmission(4+3) but got my finger on it and Im pretty sure its oil as tranny fluid is red. I checked the usual places-around the valve covers and oil filter and no signs of any leaks. Tomorrow Im going to put the car on a lift to get a better look. I also cleaned my throttle body and Iac housing yesterday but it didnt help my wandering idle any. My idles been low-around 500-700 until I drive the car for a bit then it seems to be fine and stay around 800-900.
