Oil Temp Sending Unit?
Ive got an autometer digital oil temp guage Id like to install. The directions seem pretty straight forward-one wire for dimmer switch, one for power and one for ground. It came with the sending unit. My question is where does the sending unit go on my L98? Does it go in place of the factory one above the oil filter? Is the one by the distributor just for oil pressure? What do I have to do to run both gauges?

Ive never hooked up temp guages before so Im pretty clueless about the sending units. Happen to have a pic or no a place where I can order exactly what I need? I understand the port above the oil filter is for oil temp which is exactly what Im dealing with. With the T fitting, would I still keep the factory sending unit in or how would that connect to my digital autometer guage?
