When I put this switch in my 91 10 years ago I wired it to the aux fan relay and then jumpered it to the other (or maybe vice versa). Both fans come on at 200 and off at 185. Any one of these kits will explain it well. Search "low temp fan switch" on the forum and I'm sure you'll come up with a ton of threads.

Yeah ok, now I catch your drift I have a wire schematic for what you're talking about here, but I really don't want to do that. I really don't like altering a car like that, though I did consider it (I did download the diagram from Corvettecentral.com). I think after getting very much feed-back about this, that I'm gonna burn a chip so I can have what I wanna have, fan temp, no VATS, EGR delete if I want, ect.

Default Hypertech ECM Chip

Know of anyone selling an un-needed Hypertech # 128882, I'm such a "cheapskate" sometimes.
If your looking to save some $$ I have a Hypertech Power Chip for an '89 L98, Auto. W/OD, Non Calf. emissions. This chip will lower your fan ECM activation temps working with a lower 160* themostat to lower coolant temps significantly on a stock vette. I'm pretty sure this chip has the identical code as one for a '88 L98, if you have an automatic transmission w/Non Calf. emisions.
Hypertech part # 128882
PM me if your interested!

I went with wiring my fans together with a 195 switch, it works real good. I drove today and the car runs alot cooler, around the high 180's to low 190's in heavy traffic , 215 with A/C so I'm happy with that

It was in the low 80's but humid as hell. A/C was on a 10 at 60.

I installed a manual fan switch so that I can turn on the fans at wil. It seems that they only run hot when stuck in traffic on a hot day.
