Default Trick Flow 420hp Top End Kit Question/helP!

I am aware of the SEARCH button by the way. lol
I have used it and didnt find the results i wanted so here is my question.

I have a 1985 Corvette with L98 stock engine with automatic transmission. Further more, I do want to keep the engine as TPI. I am looking into getting the Trick Flow 420hp Top End Kit (Part#TFS-K314-420-395). I already took the dive and ordered the Edelbrock High Flow Intake and runners for aftermarket heads(Part# EDL-3892).

I understand i will probably need an exhaust, tune, and flat top pistons to get close to the 420 hp.

Question is will this set up work on this L98 stock engine? Would that Edelbrock intake and runners work on this set up and what else do i need to change, in other words do i NEED to change the fuel injectors and throttle body? Any advice on what else i would need to do/buy to complete this set up is greatly appreciated.

You will definitely need fuel injectors fuel pump and a custom tune. You should also get headers and exhaust.Then after you trash the transmission ans rear with all the horsepower you will need those
I would also have the plenum ported while its off.

That cam supplied in that kit ( 228/234 .480/.494 in LSA 110 ) doesn't look too TPI compatible
For a TPI setup on good flowing heads;
most would like to see a much bigger lift ( .525+ ) ,a lot less duration and a larger LSA (easier to tune )

Also the 195 heads are most likely going to outflow any TPI intake you install so if staying TPI , possibly a smaller 185 head more suited?

Send all of those parts back. TPIS Miniram. TPIS 409 cam. 52mm TB. 24lbs Injectors. Dyno Don's Headers(Shorties). AFR 195's Heads. This combo will get you in the 420whp range.

Everything in the top end kit would work great but the cam. TPI engines like low duration and wide lobe seperations. You really need a cam with something in the 216-220 duration and a 113-114 lobe seperation. You will want a good exhaust with headers and a custom tune as well. If you have any questions feel free to call me at 330-630-1555.

Thanks to everyone for the information.
@ Vincentiroc That set up sound pretty appealing actually and have thought about the Miniram as well. So first off, do you have this set up on your car? Second, if you do can you PM me or post some pictures of your engine and did you upgrade your fuel pump as well, to what? If you did this to your car, did you go from the stock to this set up? Asking because I really like to have all items that would be needed so that they can be ordered and ready to go.

@ Gregg
Is there by any chance a way to build and price me a package for what I need with hp and torque numbers, if possible?
