Throttle Body Hose
96 Vette. LT1. Hose from Surge tank going to Radiator then throttle body has ballooned up. Thinking of cutting the hose off and putting some fuel hose and regular clamps on. Any one ever had to repair theres?????
They don't make them any more. Also if they did would cost $140.00

I drilled out the connectors that keep the reservoir hose and coolant overflow hose together and reused the coolant overflow hose. I replaced the hose that ran from the reservoir to radiator to throttle body on mine with 3/8 Goodyear hi-miler blue hose and a 3/8 Dorman plastic heater hose tee. I also bypassed the throttle body by removing the 90 degree hose coming off of the passenger side of the throttle body and running the Goodyear hose to the pipe on the intake manifold that it went to. Now I don't have to worry about the small 90 degree hose bursting. And the Goodyear hose is heavy duty and should last for years. I also put 3/8 vacuum caps on the throttle body pipes.
