Just a tip on the wire mesh. Home Depot also carries gutter guards which are a tad bigger than the opening of the bottom of your Vette. They are only about a buck apiece and you hardly waste any of it. They also make great gill inserts.

I did this years ago and it really makes it easy to get in there. I've been meaning to do an article on how to do this. Someday...

My hot tip is to seal the bottom of the A/C condenser to the shroud where all the trash sneaks in. I used two lengths of foam rubber with sticky on one side, 3/8" thick by 1/2" wide. Two pieces because of the way the bottom edge of the condenser is shaped. The home improvement stores have rolls of this stuff. The last time I took it apart I found ONE LEAF, nothing else.

Those grills look nice and that foam-rubber is a great idea, wish I heard about your idea when I had it apart

Thanks, glad you like them. I wish I had known about the foam rubber thing too, or thought of it myself. I just had mine all apart doing a cam change. My bottom screen has been in place though for about 4 years and when I pulled the rad to do the cam there was very little junk in there. Believe it or not there was a bird carcass in there the first time I did it.
