I have not been around several of the forums as of late due to a heavy travel schedule, personal issues, and doing stuff on the C6s. Still have both C4s and they are fine. Don't see getting rid of them...
I have been working on this for the past few months.
I think it will stay like this for a while.
Just can't seem to get enough FI and the massive TQ associated with 18 psi.
Good to see you are still around and the Yellow beast is still going. Are you still pushing past 25 psi on your F1-R?
My '87 is still alive. It will push about 28 psi during the summer and goes past the scale on the 3BAR during the winter (judging by the guage, it appears to be 32psi range). It makes more power than any of my other cars, but certainly is not near as friendly to drive.
My yellow C6 with H/C is just over 520WHP, while the new black one dyno'ed under 1000WHP (upgraded turbos, piping and engine). This black car is really fun to drive. But looking for new project, possibly exotic??? Who knows, need something to help keep my sanity.
Are you the guy I sold the NIB SPEC clutch to about 5 years ago?
It was good to hear from you. Yup absolutely I had picked up the SPEC clutch from you. I went out of country afterwards and came back in '09. I remember you worked for LYB then. I remember seeing your yellow car then, that was inspirational. I believe you did not have the C6s then.
To keep your sanity, I may have a minor project (that is out of my league) for you if you will have time. Would love to catch up with you.
I use you (hope you dont mind) all the time when people say stuff like:
An IRS cant be driven below 10 sec 1/4 mile.
Answer: Aaron's does
A c4 can never go that fast:
Answer: Aaron's does.
Theres a lot of confusion on this site about c4's. People seem to act like a mod'd c4 has no chance against a mod'd c5/6. I believe that to be absolutely false. Sure it will take more effort to mod a c4 as there arent all the off-the-shelf kits avail for it. You have to fab up your own stuff, brackets, etc.
Streetable forced induction technology happened to take off after the c4 did its run.
Anyways, I use your car as an example all-the-time.
Not all people are happy that you have proved them wrong either.....
Car looks good! Too bad I'm not in houston anymore as I'd like to check them out in person. For some reason I didnt realize you were from that area while I was down there
Yeah, been in Houston for many years, though I should call it my second home. I spend way too much time in other countries.
I need to pop over and check on my C4 breathren more frequently. I still see interesting projects in here. And as most know, my '87 is still my favorite Vette!

Thank you for choosing a C4 platform to out-perform the other corvette tuners on this site. Thank you for outperforming the liter-bike crowd also.
Based on topics on the C6 / C5 or off-topic (I no longer visit there) sites, you would think newer corvette owners think it an insult that the c4 even has the name corvette in it.
