The fact that you're asking that indicates that you probably don't do the mechanical work on your car. I recommend a Corvette specialty repair business. They know the car better than the dealership and will cost much less.
I have heard recently that the younger mechanics at the dealerships don't have much experience with the C4s because they are so old. The cold start injector was only used from '85 to '88, so it's kind of rare and somebody who is not familiar with older Corvettes won't know about it and how it works.
