Dropped Cylinder
Drive a '84. Stock motor, upgraded exhaust. After driving for a while and shutting down, if I restart while the engine is still hot, it now runs of seven cylinders. This only happens when hot. Trying to figure out what is happening. Is it dirty injectors/injector, bad plug or computer problem? Driving me nuts, need help, thanks.

You can determine if an injector is bad by unplugging them one at a time (engine running). If nothing changes when you unplug an injector, then that injector is not working.
Sometimes injectors fail when they get hot. You can measure the hot resistance of the injectors and see if there is a difference.

Your 84 has a crossfire injection system. There are only 4 injectors, 2 for each bank. How do you know it is is only running on 7 cyl? What trouble-shooting have you done so far? I need a-lot more info before I could even begin to guess what the problem could be.
