Power steering pump pulley
I'm doing the power steering pump on my uncles 96 collectors edition and the pulley that was on the original pump is warped.
I have looked everywhere and cannot find this pulley or anything that will come close to it. The only lead I had was in Alabama and they want $350 and I would have to drive from Ohio because they don't take credit cards over the phone.
Any help would be wonderful!
Also try Contemporary Corvette and Gale Gee.
Search under C4 Corvette parts....pulleys. power streering...find the salvage guys and if you do not see one send them email to their online store. They have it.
What you need to worry about is new hoses and a GOOD pulley so the replacement pulley does not get damaged....the same way this one is.....very easy to screw up with a cheapo puller.

RedNeck43 has been around for years. Mostly C4 parts.

You will need to get the pulley removal/ installer kit to fit a pulley on the pump, i have replaced my pump and it is the only way to go.

because last time I looked the PS pump was the same for almost every C4 made...all LTs and LT4 from what I see..
If that is the case and knowing that belt routes didn't really change that much....any yr pulley should fit.
I'd also look at aftermarket under-drive pulleys...I know you can buy one of those from one of the aftermarket catalog stores...

But once I called them I was told they don't have it.
Back to square 1 I suppose...

There are many more to contact.
Also, some C4 Vette owners here have removed their engines and are installing LSx engines.
One of them might have his old engine and parts sitting around.
Good luck!
So I found two pulleys and I didn't get them. One in Alabama and they wanted $350 for a pulley! The other a guy had only one and wanted to keep it for his ferrari replica with an lt1. So as a last resort I made one work!
I bought a dorman pulley from advance. Part # 300-101

The bore in the pulley was two large so last night my friend and I machined a bushing that would press fit into the bore of the pulley and then all the pulley to press fit onto the pump. We also cut off the ribs since the flat side of the belt rides on the pulley as well as shaved it down a little so that it fits on and doesn't rub anything.

I got it all installed today and the pulley works wonderful but I have to fix a leak on the low pressure side of the pump because it's letting to much air in when the car is running so I still don't have power steering and when it is off and you open the reservoir, fluid just pees right out of it.

How did the old one become so dented/generally booger-ed up? Looks like a beaver chewed on the thing. Good Grief!!!
FYI, I got a pump and later pulley just like yours from a Corvette Salvage yard for 85 just last year. But hey, its your car do what you want.

If I could find a pulley trust me I would rather use an OEM one or even an under or over drive but obviously it's hard to find one.
