Harness or circuit is from the fuse to the Clutch Relay, which when grounded by the ECM, flows directly to the Clutch. To narrow it down, remove the Relay. If the fuse no longer blows, you could try a new Relay, but make sure the wire doesn't have a bare spot rubbing up against the engine, chassis, etc. Make sure that the Relay Connector is in good shape - pins aren't touching.
My 91 blew fuses years ago. Kinda happened randomly. It turned out to be a wire had been rubbed bare at the firewall. Where the harness fgoes into the interior. Might check there.
There is also a brown wire for the ac which comes off the alternator and runs down the front of the block past the smog pump and crank pulleys. Make sure one of the pulleys isnt cutting into the harness.
when I bought the car the compressor wouldn't engage, turned out to be the green wire from the ECM to the low pressure switch.
I used a jumper to check and it worked. I didn't cut the wire so whatever was shorted out in the first place finally wiggled down and was blowing the fuse. I cut the wire and all is well. one of these days when I have the car up on a lift I will repair the original wire. So Far it hasn't blown it again.
