My response was really more of a question to the folks that have done this before. It has been said that it is not practical on the vette, I've done it on a camaro in the past; that's why I brought it up.

Purchase one of these inexpensive hand pumps for under $10 and change your differential fluid yourself. Also, Royal Purple gear oil works well.

Your right, I did get the fluid changed with the $10.00 pump, but you need to add the cost of $10.00 for floor dry afterwords! what a mess, gear oil smells and does not clean-up easy!

The ten dollor pump is a cheap way to go but can be a mess..I'll get a way better pump next time or the plug looks like the way to go..Can't say enough good things Royal Purple I was on my way for a new rear..Easy $1000 but the RP did the job.. for me anyway..The rear has 135000 miles ..Went drag raceing last weekend 315X17 slicks about 10-12 1/4 miles runs ..Burning rubber for days..I figured that would finished the rear off ,no still going..Going 411s in the fall..The Purple stuff will be in there...
