Default Brake Pads

I'm going to be needing new front pads pretty soon. Any advice on what brand and where to get them. I'll shoot myself if they squeal!!! :cuss Thanks

I like my hawk high performance brake pads from jegs for $54.99 (I think). They seem to have very little brake dust and work just fine. I am not sure if they are any better than the stock pads but you never know...I just never find myself braking hard so its difficult to say. I know there are some pads that are probably better/more expensive but these are fine for the street.

I purchased the Hawk pads from Tirerack.com Great price and fast shipping. I would take a look at their site before you buy anywhere else. As for the pads, i think the're decent. I have had a lot of squeel with the GM pads, and they cost even more. So far the Hawk pads have performed up to their claims. I have a pair in the rear, so i can not give excellent feedback for front pads. Good luck.

No that was just for the fronts. I had replaced my rear pads a couple of years earlier and just needed the fronts.

I'll be racing with Raybestos this weekend I'll let you know. I usually run race pads on the C5 but this was a last minute thing.

I use the NAPA Ceramic pads.. Installed them about 2k miles ago, and have been lovin them! No squeak, and they really do slow me down quicker then my old, stock pads.
