I'm wondering if there is a way to I.D. cylinder heads without removing them? I have a 94 that was supposedly turned into a 383. Just wondering if there is a way to I.D. the heads without pulling them?

Pull the valve cover off
There should be a 6?8? digit number on them. Post the last 3 digits of that number it will be stamped in the head around teh valvesprings somewhere probably 374 or 643 something like that.
